Maternity Portraits - Ashley

I took these last week on a beautiful early-Spring day at High Dive park in Elkhart. Ashley was about 35 weeks along, due the end of April. She is absolutely beautiful, and it was so fun doing these pics for her. It was my first maternity shoot, and I'm really happy with how they turned out. I'm looking forward to doing new born pics for her in a month or so!

I did an interesting photo shoot tonight. A friend of mine works for an organization that helps families in the community. Her organization did a service project helping put together soup mix packets at a local food pantry, and she asked me to come take some pictures of them "in action." It was a unique creative challenge for me, and I took the opportunity to get a few "artistic" shots while I was there.

I took this last weekend on a date with my love.  We were walking around outside, and went into one of our favorite restaurants for a snack, and I warmed up with this lovely chamomile citrus.

first snow

We had our first big dumping of snow this week (10 inches or so over 2 days).  The kids were praying for a snow day, but to no avail.  I always love the first snow of the year, it's so beautiful and exciting.  In a few months the beauty will wear off and I'll be ready for Spring again, but for now, I'm enjoying this.
